Second Grade

Welcome to second grade! This year students will be emerged in an exciting curriculum! They will be refining their skills as readers and writers by learning how to take what they read and dig deeper into understanding and comprehension. Students will be diving into problem solving skills while building a strong foundational understanding of place value. Also, students will be gaining knowledge about Georgia's heroes, Georgia's Regions, matter, life cycles, and space. Finally, they will be gaining life skills that promote independence and community building.
